Endorsement

Our organization has a strong commitment to supporting only those candidates who firmly adhere to the Constitution of the United States, the rule of law, and the lawful orders that preserve our democratic system. The Constitution is the bedrock of our nation’s freedoms, rights, and obligations, and it must continue to serve as the governing principle for all individuals who aspire to public office.

We are of the opinion that individuals who are granted leadership responsibilities must exhibit an unwavering dedication to the Constitution, scrupulously enforce the laws of the United States, and respect the institutions that protect liberty and justice. It is impossible to entrust the responsibility of public service to candidates who disregard these principles.

Consequently, our backing is exclusively reserved for candidates who demonstrate a resolute commitment to the defense of the Constitution, the upholding of the rule of law, and the provision of services to the American people with integrity, accountability, and adherence to the principles that underpin our nation.

Process

VAPAC does not endorse candidates lightly. To ensure that the candidates we support represent a broad consensus of the Vietnamese American community, we utilize a rigorous voting process.

How We Choose

Our Disbursement and Endorsement Committee conducts due diligence on candidates. Final endorsements require either a Supermajority Vote or Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) from our leadership. This ensures we speak with a unified voice and avoid splitting our community’s influence.
